The project
The Tigsmat project targets the exploration of an alkaline system bearing critical minerals in the Tiris Zemmour region. The company is currently carrying out fieldwork — geophysical surveys and sampling — under exploration permit n° 3681.
A rare dataset
The site was the subject of historical exploration campaigns carried out in the 1970s by TCMN, a joint venture between Total (via Compagnie Française des Pétroles) and Pechiney Ugine Kuhlmann. This legacy gives the project an unusually deep geological data record for a junior company, now being re-examined using modern exploration methods.
The area's geochemical anomaly is also independently documented by the USGS (United States Geological Survey) PRISM-II program, providing external corroboration of the company's work.
